		<description>I'm glad you posted something about this. I use the same framework we had come up with when first starting to develop sites at GL. I too had the same thought at first as Ajoy did but you make a good point in that you don't want to carry &lt;strong&gt;jakes a cool guy&lt;/strong&gt; to the search engines. Or do you? ;)</description>

I was waiting for someone to point that out.  I find myself receiving design comps that have bolded text in places/words that you really don't want to bring attention to, using strong.  You don't want to tell google to give emphasis or more value to words that you are not targeting with your SEO, so you can just add class="bold" and combine it with other helper classes.</description>

I use font-weight: bold all the time when it is part of a bunch of other rules, but in your cause that is the only rule. wouldn't you rather use the markup strong in html, since that hold semantic meaning (in seo) something is more important in a pragarph than something without bold?
